Framing Moments, Capturing Souls

Born and bred in Leeds, my photography journey started humbly snapping candid shots of friends on their phones for social media and capturing simple moments on family holidays. What began as casual clicks soon became something much more. I discovered a thrill in freezing fleeting moments and was constantly amazed at how these images turned out far better than I ever expected. Encouraged by friends and family who kept telling me I had a real eye for photography, I started dreaming bigger. I pictured myself holding a real camera more and more until one day, after saving diligently and realising I rarely treated myself, I took the plunge and invested in my very first camera, a Canon EOS 2000D with a beginner’s kit. The moment I held it in my hands and saw the world through its lens, I was hooked for life. I carried that camera everywhere: on daily walks to work before I could drive, on weekend adventures, and everywhere in between.

With time, support, and a little help from family and friends, I upgraded my gear to a Canon 750D paired with a versatile Tamron 18-400mm lens my trusted companion today. This setup perfectly fits my ever-evolving style, from intimate portraits and sweeping environmental shots to vibrant street scenes, dynamic events, and even creative light painting experiments. On the photography page, you’ll find glimpses of these diverse passions: encounters with wild animals, the energy of the Leeds Marathon, the vibrant nightlife of Revolution de Cuba, and, of course, my partner Adam, who’s become my favourite muse and willing poser. Photography has transformed from a hobby into a lifelong passion one that lets me capture memories, tell stories, and share moments that matter, both online and in tangible prints that will last for generations. This is just the beginning of a journey I’m thrilled to keep exploring and sharing.
